South Coast TV Retune

On 25 March 2009, as part of the changes required during the switch over to Digital Television, viewers receiving their signals from the Rowridge Transmitter will see changes to their TV reception.

Analogue Viewers will loose Channel 5

Digital Viewers will need to do a retune of their Digital TVs and Set Top Boxes. If Digital receivers are not returned viewers will loose services. BBC, ITV and other Digital services will be affected.

This is the first time viewers in Sussex will be affected by the switchover process. Estimates say over 500,000 homes, in West Sussex and surrounding areas will be affected by the Rowridge Frequency change.
